Privacy Policy

When you create a TerraPath account we collect your name, email, and any profile details you choose to share (geography, target role, career goals, interests). When you upload a resume we store the file in encrypted object storage and process the text to generate skills and gap analyses.

Your data is used to: (a) authenticate you, (b) generate personalized career insights, skills-gap reports, market intelligence, and learning recommendations, and (c) improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Your resume text and profile fields are sent to large-language-model providers (Google Gemini and OpenAI, via the Lovable AI Gateway) to generate analyses. These providers process the data on our behalf and do not use it to train their public models under their enterprise terms. Market insight prompts may use Google Search grounding to retrieve public web information.

Profile data, resume files, analyses, and recommendations are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@career-map.leanengineering.ai.

Data is stored in databases and storage buckets protected by row-level-security policies. Authentication uses industry-standard password hashing plus optional Google sign-in. We enable leaked-password screening against the Have I Been Pwned database.

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. EU and UK users have rights under GDPR; California users have rights under the CCPA. Contact us at the address above to exercise these rights.

We use first-party cookies and local storage only to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers.
